Lying Pirates The Race for the Pirate Throne Deluxe Big Box Edition [Sällskapsspel]

An exhilarating adventure awaits you, where you must outwit and outmaneuver your fellow pirate captains as you race around the islands. Using cunning strategy, a touch of fortune, and a healthy dose of deceit, can you navigate treacherous Waters to secure victory and claim the pirate throne?

Includes the Cities of Greed Expansion:
In this thrilling expansion to Lying pirates, the stakes are higher, the strategies sharper, and the rewards richer.

Feel Like a Pirate
Unlike traditional board games, Lying Pirates keeps everyone engaged at all times. This turnless race means no downtime—just constant anticipation as alliances shift and fortunes rise or fall in seconds. Fans of social deduction board games will enjoy the tension of reading opponents and deciding exactly when to take a risk.

A Storm of Lies and Loot
Premium board game components bring Lying Pirates to life! Bluff with custom engraved crew dice tucked in natural bamboo cups, and attack with linen-finish action cards that feel as refined as they look. Magnetic tiles and metal coins add a satisfying weight to the experience, making the game as tactile as it is strategic.

High-Stakes Battles on Deadly Seas
Strategic decisions meet unpredictable chaos. Each tile brings a new twist: from sea monsters to duels, storms to treasure hauls. The experience evolves with each step. You roll battle dice, chase glory, and pray the tile doesn't turn on you.

A Pirate Rush With No Mercy
The Cities of Greed expansion dials up player interaction. Influence Cards let you reward allies, sabotage rivals, or backstab anyone in your way. With zero downtime, everyone stays in the action - reading the table and striking when the moment is right. It's a lively mix of fast decisions, social strategy, and shared laughs.

Bluff, Sail, and Conquer
Race your pirate ship around the map to reach back to the base tile first. A clever turnless game where you're kept on the edge of your seat at all times! Your cup holds crew dice. More dice means more influence. Gain or lose them through tiles and cards.

Cutthroat Bluffing
Inspired by classic dice betting games, players roll hidden crew dice and wager on totals—raising, locking, or calling a bluff at exactly the right moment. Roll your crew dice, bluff on totals, raise, lock, or call liar: winner leads, loser skips, survivors tag along.

Treacherous Seas
The leader rolls the sail die and advances ships 1–2 tiles onto unique event tiles, each with its own effect. The winner and survivors then enter a Tile Event Battle, using battle dice to determine who gets to resolve the tile event.

Ruthless Ambition
Players may play their Gold or Silver cards, using them to attack rivals, defend against threats, or influence the game in other ways.
